Andy Hoskins M.Ost practices at Cotswold Osteopaths and brings extensive experience from his work within the NHS, where he has been part of various physiotherapy teams. He currently serves as an advanced practitioner for the NHS Musculoskeletal Advanced Practitioner Service (MSKAPS team). As one of the few osteopaths employed by the NHS, Andy is uniquely positioned to provide his private patients with up-to-date expertise regarding NHS care pathways.
With a wealth of experience as an osteopath, Andy treats a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions. His patient base includes office workers, athletes, pregnant women, the elderly, and others. Andy utilizes several manual therapy techniques, such as soft tissue work, joint mobilization, and manipulation, to address his patients' needs. He is committed to evidence-based practice and frequently recommends rehabilitation stretches and exercises to facilitate recovery.
Andy earned his Master of Osteopathy degree in 2014 from the British School of Osteopathy, following an intensive five-year program. He is registered with the General Osteopathic council
Outside of his professional commitments, Andy is passionate about running and has completed two marathons. He also enjoys adventure sports such as kitesurfing and snowboarding. At home, Andy leads a busy life with his partner, twins, and two energetic kittens.
